PAUL MARCUS
ROCK / POP ROCK / RETRO EDM
For over four decades, singer-songwriter Paul Marcus has devoted his life to searching for meaning and identity as an acclaimed songwriter and an esteemed therapist. Needless to say, he’s lived many lives. Marcus has played Madison Square Garden, cavalierly embraced synth pop in its infancy, wrote with fringe songwriter icons, and experienced the highs and lows of a professional career as a musician. And he did it all while also building a distinguished career as a therapist.
Now, Marcus is enjoying a rebirth of sorts inspired by embracing the totality of his life—his fascinating journey as a musician, his enlightening life as a therapist, and a renewed passion for music. He emerges a singer-songwriter with a very unique perspective on the human condition and a refreshing approach to fan-to-artist connection.
“Music is really powerful as a medium for personal growth, healing, and change. I want to reach out to people and have a dialogue, whether it’s based on my music, music in general, or just life experiences. I want to engage, empower, and foster a community where people can share ideas,” Marcus explains.
LIL MC

Lil MC is a Bay Area-based female Hip-hop artist who has proven herself as a notable talent passionate about nurturing other talents and promising individuals. She’s the co-director of the women’s empowerment program at the Oakland-based non-profit Hip-hop for Change Inc., where she also doubles as a teacher of Hip-hop history, especially the female pioneers and how they impacted the culture. LiL MC’s journey in music dates back to when she was seven, learning the piano and developing her musical sound as she grew. Beyond being a musician, she’s a brilliant music producer who understands how the blend different music genres and styles into her music. As part of her efforts to keep Hip-hop alive, she co-founded the quarterly all-women underground Hip-hop showcase, “Queens of the Underground,” which showcases the diversity of female entertainers ranging from rappers, DJs, poets, dancers and MCs.
Being an entertainer is an integral part of LiL MC artistry, as her core fans became “stans” after experiencing her performance on stage. LiL MC finds a way to ensure her fans get immersed into her cyberpunk universe with every performance as her music spans different genres, fuses, intersects and loops in succession. She’s known for her passionate lyrics and witty wordplay, which are the main ingredients that make her bold performances what they are.
Music comes to LiL MC naturally, and having that innate ability enabled her to express herself in multiple ways. She began writing music, songs and plays when she was five, learned to play the piano by ear when she was seven and took things further by learning classical and jazz piano. Even though she experienced a downward spiral around her fourteenth birthday, leaving her to struggle through high school, suffer from PTSD symptoms and a complete lack of motivation, LiL MC found ways to turn her life around. Hip-hop was there to rescue her, and from freestyling with her boyfriend, she took up music full-time and has become the promising act the Hip-hop world is blessed to have today.
LiL MC has put her past behind her, dropping out of high school, suffering emotional abuse, going through addiction and being in a near-death accident. It took reevaluating her life choices, going to community college and earning a degree in psychology. She has placed herself at the forefront of fighting for women’s rights and showcasing women’s abilities in the entertainment world. paul james irvine
rock recording artist
Paul James Irvine was 15 when the blueprint of his musical journey began to unfold, courtesy of his parents Jim and Margaret. A mere 25 quid brought him his first love from a local pawn shop - a battered and bruised 1967 Hagstrom III. Broken as it was, Irvine refurbished it into his sonic weapon of choice with a bit of TLC and hot-rodding.
Contrary to expectations at 17, Irvine veered off his supposed path into university and a science degree. A gap year in a microbiology lab had revealed that academia wasn't the stage where he'd play his life’s concert. No plan B was in sight, but fate had its own score.
In the unusual world of 1979, Irvine found himself navigating a novel profession. The sudden boom in demand for software programmers was a lucrative siren call, and Irvine found himself surprisingly attuned to this digital composition. The newfound role fueled his passion for music and brought the means for new gear.
As he ventured into the post-punk era with The Chocolate Frogs, his band's unique blend of power pop, technical mastery, and jazz twists made their performances an exhilarating whirlwind. Hilton Valentine, the storied Animals' guitarist, came knocking, offering a management contract and a glimmer of the big leagues.
However, the tides of music ebbed away from their Zappa-meets-Jethro-Tull sound and into the New Romantic movement, leaving The Frogs high and dry. Stranded without a record deal, the band couldn't afford to self-record. Still, they persevered, and in the process, Irvine found love, settled into suburban life, and committed to a software development career.
Fast-forward to the turn of the millennium. Now a seasoned software professional, Irvine found a fresh rhythm in the US with his cover band, Prime Number. Their late-night gigs were grueling but the joy of igniting the dance floor made the effort worthwhile.
Yearning for original music led Irvine to Yetimojo, a hobby band formed with fellow rock'n'roll enthusiasts. Covid brought an abrupt pause to their live gigs, but as 2022 rolled around, Irvine was ready to strike the chords of his musical journey once again.
Paul James Irvine was scouted by the CEO of Aurally Records, Mary Knoblock, where she recognized his incredible post-apocalyptic rock sounds that brought back the 70's rock scene in full force. He was offered a Distribution Deal with Aurally Records powered by EQ which is a distributor for Roc Nation. Aurally Records is part of the Produced by a Girl Records Label Family powered by Equity Distribution via Roc Nation. Teeming with riffs and talent, Aurally signed the UK rocker on the spot and is looking forward to cultivating his artist path in the music industry one rock and roll emo ballad at a time. Be sure to check his debut EP out July 14th "Shape It In Your Mind" on all streaming channels.
